Sustainability and ESG

Environmental and social sustainability has always been at the core of Parkinge‘s business. Through investments in mobility infrastructure, Parkinge supports the energy transition to a climate-neutral economy by 2050 as established by the Paris Accords, and sustainable development by contributing to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.

More in detail:

Principi

Parkinge bases its strategy in the mobility segment precisely around the centrality of car parks, as sustainable mobility hubs, by taking action on three main levers: environmental neutrality of assets; support for intermodality and transport decarbonisation; user and community experience.

To further facilitate intermodality, Arpinge has long launched a programme to develop structural facilities that favour bike-mobility to and from its assets. In addition, with a view to promoting and accelerating electric mobility transition, the Company has set a target to equip all its car parks with smart and charging systems.

Finally, the Group aims to continuously improve the experience of its car park users, through technological investments aimed at simplifying access and payment procedures, as well as investments for renovating the facilities, in order to make them more comfortable and connected with the surrounding urban landscape (community experience).

Our commitments are expressed in a ESG Policy approved by the Company’s Board of Directors.
