Verona

Embraced by a bend, Verona, thanks to its historic center, is configured as the pearl of the Adige River or, more generally, as one of the most fascinating sites in northern Italy. Not surprisingly, the Scaliger city was a source of inspiration for Shakespeare’s pen, which gave birth to the immortal “Romeo and Juliet.” The city’s nerve center, Piazza Bra, is just the beginning of a pleasant stroll among Roman and medieval architecture.

Impossible not to mention the Arena di Verona, just a short walk from the Cittadella parking lot, ideal for easing traffic during the many events held at the famous 1st-century BC Roman amphitheater, but also for a visit to the historic center of the splendid Venetian city. In addition to the beautiful Piazza Bra, several places of interest can be glimpsed near the parking lot, such as Juliet’s house, the Lamberti Tower, and Verona Cathedral.
